Rise Up Wear is apparel with purpose. As is our namesake, it’s our mission to rise up to the challenge and help others overcome the hurdles they’re faced with in life.

Our vision is to inspire others to rise up and be part of the movement. Built on a foundation of self-love and love for our fellow humans, Rise Up Wear pushes to do more and reach further.

We’ve spent years designing apparel lines, and we’re super excited for you to try our range for yourself. We’ve worked closely with our manufacturing team to create garments which are high quality, comfortable and truly reflect our brand’s message. We don’t want to be like everyone else (where’s the fun in that!), we want to do things our way. The Rise Up way.

Rise Up Wear is for everybody. Everyone can be part of the Rise Up Wear community. Whether you’re a volunteer, a single parent, local firefighter or spiritual believer, we’re excited for you to be a part of the movement!

MEET THE TEAM

Anthony Mathis

Anthony's journey to venturing outside of the basketball world and being a part of the Rise Up Wear family has been very unique. He continues to chase his dream in professional basketball. Anthony played in the NBA G-League for two years before heading over to Europe to continue his professional career. Anthony has played in countries like Greece, Sweden, Romania, and most recently Estonia.

Anthony grew up in West Linn, Oregon and graduated from West Linn High School before heading off to the The University of New Mexico on a full ride scholarship, where he would receive his bachelors degree in Criminology. He would then go on to transfer to the University of Oregon for his final year before pursuing his professional career in basketball.

Outside of his basketball career he has always been very passionate about being a part of something so much bigger. Joining the Rise Up family has given him that opportunity to be a co-owner of a very special brand. Although this is Anthony's first time working in any field outside of basketball, he brings a very outgoing and hard working mentality to our team. We are very happy and honored to have him with us.

Gabe Stephens (Founder)

Gabe’s journey from a garage-based t-shirt operation to a successful apparel business has been nothing short of transformative. What began as a simple endeavor to create custom t-shirts for friends quickly evolved into a deep exploration of the apparel industry. Fueled by a lifelong passion for athletics and fashion, Gabe delved headfirst into learning the ins and outs of the business, from design to production and everything in between.

As Gabe honed his skills and knowledge, he sought out opportunities to collaborate with manufacturers, absorbing invaluable insights and experiences along the way. Over the course of 12 years, he cultivated enduring relationships with these industry partners, allowing Rise Up Wear to expand.

The transition from a modest garage setup to a thriving apparel business wasn't just about the physical growth of the brand; it represented the metamorphosis of a simple hobby into a profound passion. Every step of the way, Gabe was driven by a relentless commitment to quality, innovation, and the fusion of athleticism and fashion.

Today, looking back at this journey, Gabe is immensely proud to have turned a labor of love into a vibrant, successful enterprise. Rise Up Wear stands as a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and the unwavering belief that anything is possible with dedication and a vision.
